10 Reasons Why Our Social Classes Are World Class

It’s often said: “Dogs are like toddlers for life”.

I add to that: “But they run a lot faster and bite a lot harder”!

This is why it’s critical to set your dog up for success when it comes to their social skills. Not all play time is created equal. Most dog owners think (I used to think this too) the best way to socialize a dog is at a dog park or at a “free-for-all” style daycare. That is until they meet us and fall in love with our structured social classes 🙂🎉

Here are 10 reasons our social classes are WORLD CLASS, and why we have never taken a casual approach to socializing dogs:

  1. Teaches Polite Play
Your dog will learn how to interact respectfully with other dogs, avoiding pushy or rough play that often happens in unstructured classes.

  2. Builds Confidence
With guidance from our trained staff, your dog will feel more secure, knowing we’ll step in if they feel nervous. This confidence makes play more enjoyable and stress-free.

  3. Reduces Stress and Fights
High-energy dog parks and free-for-all daycares can overwhelm dogs, leading to stress and even fights. Our classes provide a calm, controlled space that prevents chaos.

  4. Stops Bad Habits Before They Start
Jumping, barking, and chasing behaviors aren’t encouraged here. Instead, we promote calm and appropriate interactions from the start.

  5. Teaches Attention in a Group Setting
Unlike free play environments, our structured classes teach your dog to focus and follow commands, even around distractions like other dogs.

  6. Prevents Hyperactivity & Adrenalized Play
Free-for-all environments can get dogs hooked on adrenaline. This exhausts them, but they soon recover and can become restless at home. We balance fun with rest to prevent this, leaving your dog tired but calm by the end of the day.

  7. Enforces Boundaries and Manners
We set clear boundaries, teaching your dog what behaviors are acceptable and helping them understand social rules.

  8. Better Energy Management
Structured daycare teaches your dog when to play and when to relax, preventing burnout and teaching them self-control.

  9. Healthier Socialization
Our classes teach calm hellos, ensuring your dog learns to meet new dogs and people in a polite, respectful way.

  10. Prepares Your Dog for the Real World
After attending our structured daycare, your dog will be better equipped to handle the real world with confidence—whether it’s meeting new dogs, people, or staying calm in a busy environment.
