Dog Training Matchmaker Quiz

What Type Of Training Does Your Dog Really Need?

Are you a busy professional who feels overwhelmed by your disobedient dog? You’re not alone. Many dog owners with demanding careers face the challenge of raising a well-mannered pet. The chaotic lifestyle can make it difficult to give your furry friend the structure they need, leading to anxiety for both of you. But what if I told you it doesn’t have to be that way?

At Train Walk Poop, we understand how tough it can be to fit training and care into your hectic schedule. With over 17 years in the business and more than 2,000 trained dogs, we have the experience to address the root causes of disobedience—all while recognizing the unique struggles professionals like you face.

Choosing the right training for your dog can feel confusing, so I’ve put together some quick answers to common questions. I want to make it easy!

Q: How do I know which training program is best for my dog?

A: Great question! This is exactly why I created my Dog Training Matchmaker Quiz! You can take it to help figure out which program is the best fit for your dog’s needs. If you’d rather talk it through, just reply to this email, and we can chat!

Q: What’s the difference between one-on-one sessions and boarding school?

A: One-on-one sessions mean we meet weekly, and you take your dog home each night. Boarding school is more intensive; your dog stays with us for focused training. You’ll still get time to practice on weekends.

Q: Can my dog start with group classes?

A: Group classes are awesome, but they’re usually best as a second step. Dogs need a good foundation first before they’re ready to learn in a busy, distracting place. Most dogs will need to finish a program before attending group class, but if you feel your dog is ready now…… reply and let me know!

Q: Are online courses helpful?

A: Yes! Online courses can be a good start, especially if you’re on a budget. But nothing beats hands-on training with a pro. We recommend mixing online learning with in-person training when possible.

Q: How long will it take to see results?

A: Every dog is different, but most owners see positive changes within the first few sessions. The more consistent we are, the faster they learn!

Q: What if my dog has a lot of behavior issues?

A: Don’t worry! We’re here to help with any behavior, big or small. For dogs with more serious issues, we might suggest boarding school or an extended program for the best results.

Q: Will I need to keep training after the program?

A: Yes, but don’t worry—it won’t take much time! Just a few minutes each day to reinforce what they learned. We’ll show you exactly what to do. This too depends on your dog, but most dogs end up with about 10-30 minutes of daily homework.
