I get it. That face they make when you leave – even just for work – feels like emotional warfare.
But let me tell you what actually happens when dogs come to our training program…
Sure, some dogs are confused at first. But within hours, they realize something amazing: This place has DOGS. And TOYS. And TREATS. And people who speak their language.
We’re really, REALLY good at earning dogs’ trust quickly. We find exactly what makes each dog tick. We find what YOUR dog loves and we lean into it hard.
Your dog starts pulling you TOWARD our building. Not away. TOWARD.
By day 2 or 3, most dogs are literally dragging their owners to our front door. The same dog who “never likes strangers” or “has separation anxiety” is now bouncing with excitement to get inside.
Your dog’s day with us:
When exactly are they supposed to fit in the whining and sadness? They’re too busy having the time of their lives!
You’re right. Some dogs ARE different. And here’s our promise: If your dog is genuinely too stressed to train, we’ll tell you immediately. Day one. No sugar-coating.
We won’t force it. We won’t let them suffer. We’ll either adjust our approach or recommend a different program that works better for them.
But in 18 years? The number of dogs who were actually too stressed to stay with us? I can count them on one hand.
It’s not “My owner abandoned me!”
It’s more like “Oh cool, dog camp! See you later, Mom!”
You know what’s better than your dog’s normal greeting when you come home from work?
Their greeting after a day of training. They’re SO excited to see you. But also SO tired from their adventures. It’s the best of both worlds.
Ready to give your dog the adventure of a lifetime?
Your dog’s going to have a blast,
Ryan
P.S. – My favorite moment is when owners drop off on day 3 and their dog doesn’t even look back. They just trot off happily with the trainer. The owner always looks slightly offended but mostly relieved.
