Train Walk Poop is a training oriented daycare and we are a facility that cares a lot about your dogs well being. We follow a fun, strict social schedule throughout the day that our daycare, boarding and training dogs LOVE! We also make sure that all socials are supervised by our trained staff, so that we are able to make sure that everything goes smoothly, and that dogs are having fun by playing safely and respectfully with each other! Our staff is trained to handle the super playful pups, the more reactive bunch, and the calm dogs that love to nap the day away. Our socials are usually split up into these groups so that all dogs can have a great, positive experience with other dogs at our facility!
Train Walk Poop does use training tools for our daycare, boarding and training dogs. The use of these tools allows us to make sure that all dogs are having a positive and safe experience with other dogs. For more details, log into your Gingr account to review your service agreement. Lessons Built:
In means all dogs, regardless of the service they came to us for, will learn the following:
Walk politely on leash with our staff
Sit and wait politely before going through doors
Relax in their kennel between social classes
Interact politely with the other dogs in their social group (we separate dogs by size and temperament, so playful dogs and calmer dogs have their own groups which greatly increases the enjoyment for all dogs in our care)
“My 2-year-old Lab mix Wolfie is reactive and not a good fit for typical dog daycares that don’t know how to handle dogs with behavioral issues. I’m so grateful to the staff at TWP for their knowledge and patience with my pup. It’s obvious to me that they really care about their dogs. While I was out of town, I boarded Wolfie with TWP. Mid-way through my trip and his stay, Wolfie became incredibly anxious and sick, and the staff at TWP reached out to me, asked what I would like to do, and took Wolfie to the vet for me. They also sent me photos and updates frequently to let me know how he was doing. I was floored by how considerate and thorough they were. Wolfie also adores daycare at TWP. TWP might cost a bit more than the average daycare, but you’re paying for that specialized, attuned care to your pup. For me and Wolfie, it’s totally worth it. Highly recommend :)”

“Ryan is a very experienced and knowledgeable trainer. He busted a lot of myths we knew about dog training and what he taught us has been so useful and works! The doggy day care is also great! Our puppy had socialization problems with other dogs and after just a few days going to doggy day care she is a completely different dog when she’s around other dogs! They were able to get her socialized on her timeline in a healthy, non stressful way. All in all 10/10 would recommend this company for all dog needs!”
We love Train Walk Poop! We'd been struggling to find a daycare/boarding place that really understood dogs. Our GSP-mix is indifferent to playing with other dogs, and gets uncomfortable when other dogs rush up to him, especially in a pack. We needed boarding, but were extremely worried about the open-dog-park-style interview process at other facilities. The staff at Train Walk Poop are great at recognizing canine body language and understanding that just because a dog isn't a social butterfly doesn't mean they're aggressive. Our dog loves going to daycare, and staff sent extremely helpful report cards at the end of every day during his boarding stay!
