We call ourselves “emotional support humans” because we believe in meeting dogs’ needs first – that’s how they become the amazing companions we know they can be.
Most of our team members have rescue dogs of their own, and we’ve seen firsthand how these dogs can change our lives. We’re inspired daily by the incredible foster parents and shelter workers who choose to give their time and hearts to overlooked dogs. These dedicated humans motivate us to do more, give more, and be more for the dogs in our community.
BATMAN’S STORY: FROM “WORST” FOSTER TO BEST TEACHER
When CAWS asked why I would adopt our “most challenging” foster dog, I didn’t have a logical answer. I just knew Batman was meant to be mine. He’s taught me more about dog training than any course or certification ever could. Thanks to him, our entire team has leveled up our ability to help “tricky” dogs succeed. Sometimes the dog picks you as much as you pick them.
