You do not have to take our word for it. Below are real reviews from our team on Indeed. We copied them word for word, typos and all. We also included the tough ones, because this job is not for everyone.

Growth and learning

The management team showed how much they cared about my personal growth at TWP. I could tell that they wanted me to achieve my goals and supported me with compassion when I needed help.

The trainers here have a strong skill set and were always willing to take the time to guide me with my challenging dogs and problem solve alongside me. I did feel like my voice mattered and my questions were welcomed. You are given an abundance of resources in order to know what your expectations are, where you’re at in the training process and how you can improve your skillset with the dogs. The head trainer leads with compassion, patience and WANTS you reach your full potential.

Being a dog trainer here was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The amount that I learned working here was staggering, with incredibly supportive staff and management who are more than happy to lend an ear to answer all your questions. There were always opportunities to make more money, and management always took my concerns to heart and worked with me the best they could. I truly can’t say enough good things about this company!

Comprehensive training program, Commission pay for closing the sale, They foster your professional growth as a trainer, Will do whatever they can to help you succeed, They are constantly trying to adapt for staff and clients, You’re busy and have been given a clear direction at the start of the day, They have transformed dogs lives for the better

I’ve had a fantastic experience working at TWP! The entire team is incredibly supportive and fun to work with. Everyone, is great at communicating and always open to feedback. It’s clear that they value input from all team members, creating a collaborative environment where you really feel heard. There’s also a strong emphasis on growth and development, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and techniques. Whether it’s improving my training methods or gaining insights from more experienced coworkers, I’m constantly learning. If you’re looking for a place that values teamwork, communication, and professional development, TWP is an excellent choice!

Safety, teamwork, and the dogs

The kennel tech team is very knowledgeable about their social room dogs and have a high focus on communication and consistency. You are given many opportunities to ask questions about their process and they have their rules laid out to be as clear and concise as possible. They teach you how to control the room, how to manage your time effectively and value safety above all else. A dog fight has not happened here for years, because of their dedication to safety and communication.

I had so much fun during my time working here, and like any job it can get stressful from time to time. But the team is amazing, and they always figure out a way to get through things together. Management and pay are the best parts of this job, the owner and manager do everything they can to make sure every staff member feels safe. This is probably the best job I’ve ever had.

I loved working here. The people here are amazing and so are the dogs. I learned so much in my time here. Good work/life balance. The work was fun and engaging.

People are great and they care about the animals.

Management, pay, and work life balance

A company that gives you work life balance, generous salary and awesome work culture. They value teamwork and gives opportunity to everyone to speak up. Highly recommended!!

I worked at TWP for 3 years and haven’t enjoyed working at any other job previously. The management is fair and let’s you take any personal days that you need. Management also covers any shifts that not able to be covered when someone needs time off. The pandemic hit and hours were lost, but there wasn’t much that the company could do for any one person at this time. My manager did work remotely from home while she gave up her hours to other employees who needed the pay more. Cleaning is done on a nightly basis, and dogs go home happy and healthy! The training that’s offered to the customers is also great, we always had happy customers at the end of the day. My previous job was horrible compared to this one, and management makes it easy to love this place. I’m sad I had to leave the company due to low hours but I would consider a job from them in the future if they’d have me back.

Great pay, wonderful co-workers, fantastic management

Excellent management and Work Culture!!

Amazing owner, staff, and customers

Productive and fun workplace

Awesome Job

The honest warnings

Starting here and learning how the company operates as a whole is challenging. You are given A LOT of information quickly and will need to continue to ask question after question, in order to be successful here.

If you love dog training, you will love the opportunities you’ll be given at this job and if you’re adaptable, you can go far here. Ask for help and make sure you understand what is expected of you.

I really enjoyed my time at TWP. If you’re looking for a job with possibilities and want to learn how to succeed in this industry, this is the job for you. If you have an ego about dog training and don’t know how to take feedback, good luck.
